“Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and the test of our civilization.”
Mahatma Gandhi
Dear Soul Friends,
It feels like Bealtaine has dipped the world into her glowing fire - the sun has been out in Ireland for several weeks now. I didn’t really notice how gloomy winter was, as there was so much change going on. However, I can tell that my nervous system has been a lot calmer lately. I can feel the growth my soul has made in the past few months, when I consciously stretched myself beyond the limits of my mind, diving into challenges that felt big but turned out to be just right in the end.
If you read my latest articles, you know that I have been giving a few talks and workshops at the MindBodyExperience in Dublin and Galway. I hereby welcome all new subscribers that I met at these events. It was a pleasure to talk to you!
One thing that is still warming my heart is the abundance of new contacts I made through these events. After the event I strolled through the beautiful nature in Phoenix Park in Dublin – who would have thought that there is a whole forest in the middle of the city! The diversity of plants that I witnessed there was a perfect mirror for the garden of visitors, healers and vendors that I bathed in during the event. I loved seeing the diversity and uniqueness of the beautiful souls that talked to me, listened or received my poetry. Here are my highlights, my insights and my news that I heartfully share with you.
While I am typing these words in the cosy environment of a café, the song “The Power of Love” emerges from the speakers behind me, and I can’t help but smile about the synchronicity. In fact, I am tearing up right now, as I recall the moments of the event in which I witnessed that Love is indeed the most powerful force of all!
“Even though there may be times
It seems I’m far away
Never wonder where I am
‘Cause I am always by your side”
excerpt of "The Power of Love" - performed by Celine Dion
These words are actually spoken by Love herself. Love is always there, a lighthouse (like I pointed out in my talk), that is guiding us home to ourselves. (Stay tuned, I will soon share the contents of my talk with you).
The Little Things
“Shared joy is double joy; Shared sorrow is half a sorrow.”
Swedish proverb
It’s the little things that make the biggest impact, and I deeply believe that it is the little people that make the biggest impact also – our children! Have you ever had a bad day and then a child smiled at you? Yes, our little ones are pure positive energy and know how to reflect Love back on you! When a child approached my stall with a big smile, telling me that she also writes poetry, my heart opened wide. I offered to write a poem for her. The smile on her face when I read it to her was everything and I thought it couldn’t get any better. However, just like nature, everything is constantly growing, and so is our joy. When the little girl came back to recite a poem that she wrote herself, it was my turn to smile in delight. Giving and receiving in perfect balance. Wholeness. Oneness. At this moment of interaction, true connection took place.
It got better and better and better. The day went on, and I continued to share my practice of seeing the world through Love’s eyes, encouraging people to find hearts everywhere. I was just deep in a talk with a visitor when a family, who had visited my stall before, approached. I could feel their excitement as they patiently impatiently waited for us to end our chat. When they showed me the picture of a heart that they had just found in their food, my heart spilled over with delight. Let’s never underestimate the ripples we are making!

Words Are Magic
“When we allow ourselves to exist truly and fully, we sting the world with our vision and challenge it with our own ways of being.”
Thomas Moore
As already mentioned, the diversity of the people I met in Galway and Dublin was truly enchanting! You know that my favourite topics to talk about are Love, words and poetry. As much as I was there to inspire others, I myself, was inspired by the visitors. A woman told me that she discovered that the Hungarian word “félni” (to be afraid) can be transformed into “elni” (to live) when we take the first letter away. I learned that the word “weird” stems from the word “wurd” and (simplified) means “fate”, as well as “enchanting” and I realised that the word “poetry” is in the word “poverty”. Words are just filled with magic and when we let them flow, they carry powerful messages. I am always blown away by the beauty of the poetry that is created during my workshops! The poetry that people write, after we connect with our creative source and open our heArt, is deeply moving, effortlessly flowing and frees so many trapped emotions. The participants were surprised at how easily the words came to them and felt freed and unblocked afterward. If you want to free your flow as well, I invite you to join my 7-week live online writing course “The Healing Power of Poetry”! You can sign up for a single session or buy the whole course and get a discount! You can find the details here. You don’t have to have any experience in order for you to join!
Signs and Synchronicities
“When there is awareness, then we receive knowledge and wisdom from everywhere. The entire Earth gives us knowledge.”
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
Sunday was the day of synchronicities. As I drove to the venue, a little red robin blocked my way in the middle of Dublin’s busy streets. Luckily, no one was behind me so the little bird got away unscarred. Angel numbers kept showing up and I kept getting signs of creating some retreat offers in Bray, a place I visited when I visited Ireland the second time. The biggest synchronicity was the woman who approached my stall with an urgency to talk to me, as something resonated deeply with her. When her friend gifted her a poem of mine, she told me she likes to write for herself. We talked a bit deeper, and she turned out to live in Westport, the very place I am hosting a writing retreat (Which, by the way, will be AMAZING. We will not only use meditation and the ocean to help us to get into the flow of words, but also learn how to hand-bind our own notebooks, you can read about it here)! As if this wasn’t enough synchronicity, we discovered that we had attended the same storytelling circle which happens to take place at the house where I am living. We never noticed that we had seen each other before.
The weekend in Dublin ended with a highlight of mine, the workshop where I used improvisation for self-exploration and growth, meeting ourselves without judgement and embracing our “weirdness” – our MAGIC! We were a small circle and I thank everyone who attended and made my dreams come true. We had lots of fun exploring the labels that we put on ourselves or that were put on us, witnessing how “Tom Tree-Hugger” or “Maggie Always Late” were shapeshifting from a heavy judgement into a light-hearted, loving embrace. If you are curious about these kinds of workshops, I am hosting a half-day workshop in Westport in June. Sign up or read more about it here.
We ended this day with a poem of mine that very much wrapped up the whole experience. We are indeed unique and wonderful. Each of us is needed in this beautiful symphony of Love! Never ever underestimate how your uniqueness adds to the whole picture! We are not here to be the same. We are here to be one. I often think, in our longing for the feeling of oneness, we try to get to this feeling by sameness. Our labels help us to feel like we belong to a certain group. I can feel a sense of belonging through gathering together with women, entrepreneurs, tree-huggers or poets. When we look at its etymology, the word “belonging” means “to go along with” and “to be a member of”. When we approach connection from the ego, we end up belonging to a certain group of people. However, when we are on our own, we might feel alone and separated. When we connect with our inner source, the Love that we are, we can bathe in the field of oneness. Then we find connection in every interaction, we see the web of wonder and how we are all interconnected. Someone can be as different as no other in their human form, yet in the bigger picture we are all one. Here I can meet the other without needing them to agree with me. By this, I free our conversation from any expectation and the depth of connection becomes limitless.
Balancing Energies
“The antidote to exhaustion isn’t rest. It’s nature.”
Shikoba
I have always been a very communicative person, and talking to people comes easily to me. However, for a long time I have struggled with going through big emotions after I had many people around me. When I was unaware that everything in this universe is energy, I didn’t make a connection between me, being sensitive to energies and me, feeling depleted and overwhelmed after being in groups. The deeper I dive into my spiritual practices, the more sensitive I seem to become. This brought up a lot of feelings from my teenage years. When I realised that the big emotions I had as a child and teenager was not me, being dramatic, but me reacting to the energies around me, a lot of things shifted for me. In the past few years I consciously stripped down the layers of my conditioning to meet my true self again - the sensitive, empathic, creative, wild and loving soul that I’ve always been. I now know how to tend to my energy. The most impactful practice for me is connecting with nature and grounding. Thus, I took a detour to the ocean before the event to dip my feet into the water. After the three days, as already mentioned, I spent the whole day in Phoenix Park. It was busy, yet I felt like a bubble of solitude was wrapping me in peace, when I strolled past the old, crooked trees. When I spotted the polka-dotted field of buttercups, I almost let out a delighted scream! I immersed myself into the yellow, strengthening my solar plexus while watching children cheerfully running through the field of flowers. It felt like I had travelled into the TV series “Little House On The Prairie”.
I explored the little forest, picked up some wild garlic and was delighted to also find lemon balm. I sat down with some ice-cream to reflect on the event through journaling.

I ended my recharging session with a cleansing footbath in the river - my heart and soul singing in unison with the frequency of the earth. Gratitude filled me from the inside out. Here are a few impressions of the diversity in Phoenix Park:

Lastly, I want to share the poem I ended the poetry workshop with - and that I wrote a while ago - about our uniqueness. Feel free to share the poem with anyone who might need it. We are here to be Love.
Pride and Prejudice
No one
judges flowers
on being different
no matter the shape
the smell
the appearance
they all
are living
entwined
with Mother Earth
Every flower
has its purpose
and its effect
on humans
and animals
Nature invites us
to pick our favourites
from the colourful tray
that we bring to our homes
or plant into the clay
The sun
doesn’t pick
on which she wants
to shine first
Every single plant
is able to fill the thirst
of the soul
for beauty
so don’t worry
about you
being different
as diversity
is the only
possibility
to keep
expansion
Alive.
